What Ownerkit is
Ownerkit is a tool for recording your own dates and documents and reminding you about them. You get a licence to use the app on your own devices for your own business or household purposes.
Reminders are a helper, not a guarantee
Ownerkit reminds you about what you put into it, when your device is able to show a notification. Whether your registration, insurance, licences, certificates or maintenance are current remains your responsibility, and so does meeting any legal or contractual obligation attached to them. Do not rely on the app as your only record or your only reminder.
Your data
Your records stay on your device. Backing them up is up to you, and the app includes a backup and restore for that. If you uninstall the app or lose the device without a backup, the records go with it and we cannot recover them for you.
Optional Google features
Office sharing and the calendar subscribe link use your own Google account and a script you install yourself. You are responsible for who you give the link and key to, and Google's own terms apply to your account.
What you agree not to do
Don't attempt to resell the app as your own, and don't use it for anything unlawful.
Liability
Ownerkit is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the app, including a missed date, an expired registration or licence, a fine, or lost data. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.
Changes
These terms may be updated, with the new version posted here and a new date at the top.
