Privacy policy
Last updated 15 September 2026
The short version: Ownerkit has no accounts and no server. Everything you put in stays on your own phone, and none of it is sent to us.
What we collect
Nothing. Ownerkit does not ask you to sign up, does not create an account, and does not send your records, photos or usage to us or anyone else.
Where your information is kept
Every record, photo and document you add is stored on your own device. It is included in your normal device backup, iCloud or a computer backup, the same as any other app on your phone. Delete the app and the data goes with it, so export a backup first if you want to keep it.
Photos and camera
Ownerkit asks for camera or photo library access only at the moment you attach a photo or add a logo. Photos you attach are stored on your device with the record. They are not uploaded anywhere.
Your calendar
If you use "Add to my calendar", Ownerkit asks for calendar permission and writes your due dates as events in the calendar you choose. It only touches the events it created. If you remove them from within Ownerkit, they are deleted from that calendar.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled on your device by the phone itself. No notification data leaves the device, and there is no push server involved.
Sharing with the office
This feature is optional and off unless you set it up. If you turn it on, Ownerkit sends your records and attachments to a Google Sheet and a Google Drive folder inside your own Google account, using a script you install yourself. We have no access to that sheet, that folder or that account. Google's own privacy terms apply to it, and anyone you give the link and key to can see and edit those records, so treat them like a password.
The calendar subscribe link
If you generate a subscribe link from your own Google Sheet, anyone with that link can see the due dates it contains. Only share it with people who should see them.
Purchases
If a paid plan is offered in future, purchases are handled by Apple or Google. We never see your payment details.
Children
Ownerkit is a general business and household tool, rated 4+, and does not collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
